ENTROPY (2027)

A creative project under Thoughtful App Co. β€” ENTROPY is a short anime-style film made as an experiment in agentic filmmaking: the first AI agentic Japanese anime. It pairs a hand-shaped story and art direction with generative video, audio, and editing pipelines driven by AI agents rather than a traditional production crew.

The experiment

ENTROPY asks what a film looks like when the pipeline itself is agentic β€” when generation, iteration, and assembly are delegated to AI agents under creative direction. The goal isn’t to remove the human; it’s to keep the human at the helm of taste and story while the agents handle the frame-by-frame labor.

Why it sits with Thoughtful App Co.

Thoughtful App Co. builds for humans first β€” and that thesis extends past software into how we make creative work. ENTROPY is a probe into that question: can agentic tooling expand what a small team (or one person) can author, without surrendering authorship itself?
